Ariel (Ari) Cohen is a Senior Security Consultant at Rozin Security, drawing on a career that spans military leadership, intelligence analysis, and security consulting. He helps organizations identify vulnerabilities and anticipate risk before it becomes something more serious.
Ari has conducted risk, vulnerability, and threat assessments across a wide range of environments, including commercial businesses, places of worship, K–12 schools, higher education institutions, and state government clients. His experience comes from working on assessments for dozens of facilities to include compliance, benchmarking, and gap analysis of
these facilities.
Prior to rejoining Rozin Security, Ari served as an Intelligence Reports Specialist for SAFE Cincinnati at the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, where he conducted open-source intelligence research, produced threat assessments, coordinated closely with law enforcement and community security leaders, and supported nonprofit organizations in securing state and federal security grants. Earlier in his career at Rozin Security, he helped develop the firm’s security risk assessment methodologies and led on-site assessments and executive reporting for clients across the public and private sectors.
Ari’s foundation in security began in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and lived in Isreal from 2006-2013. He worked as an open-source intelligence monitor with the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, before joining the Israel Defense Force in 2009, where he served as a squad commander and platoon commander in a combat infantry unit, and later as a section officer in the IDF Ground Forces Foreign Relations Branch. He was honorably discharged in 2013 at the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
He holds a master’s degree in Counterterrorism and Homeland Security from the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis. Ari is the son of a former American Foreign Service officer and grew up in England, South Africa, Israel, and Bolivia. He is fluent in Hebrew.
