Carli is a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma and Psi Chi National Honor Societies. Her graduate thesis examined how tessellated grid shapes in thematic crime hot spot mapping influence forecasting performance. She conducted this research using ArcGIS and ArcPro, and her work has been published in the Journal of Student Research.
