Makenzie is an Analyst with Rozin Security’s Protection and Intelligence Division. She joined the firm full time in May 2024 after completing an internship with the same division.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice through the Honors Program from the University of Tampa in May 2024. During her studies, Makenzie completed internships with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office Real-Time Intelligence Center and Rozin Security, gaining hands-on experience in both public and private sector intelligence. Her work included supporting background investigations and intelligence products, analyzing threat information and tips, producing BOLO reports, and delivering actionable intelligence to field personnel. In her senior year, she also completed a research thesis examining theories of victimization and their increasing prevalence on college campuses, which was later published in the University of Tampa’s library database.

In her current role, Makenzie prepares daily and weekly intelligence reports, conducts background investigations, monitors potential threats, and supports behavioral and threat assessments for clients. She has completed additional professional training through Max Academy and Rutgers RTM Training and is certified in several Structured Professional Judgment (SPJ) tools.
