Peyton Toman is a graduate from the University of Tampa where she received a Bachelor of science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Cybersecurity. She began her work with Rozin Security as an intern.

She is a published author in the Journal of Criminal Justice Studies, with a research article titled “A Micro-Level Longitudinal Study of the (In)Stability of Street Robbery Hot Spot Locations and Environments Using Google Street View.”
